I am back!!!!

I know it has been several months since I last posted, it just seems like ever since I had my third child I am super busy.  I want to get this blog started back up! I have been doing several fun projects and would love to post them.  I am going to start up Hoo's Got Talent again every Wednesday and I would love for you to link up projects you have been working on.
So to get back into the swing of things I know Halloween is over, but I am still going to do a couple of posts on projects I did for Halloween. I am going to start with these super cute spiders that I made with the after school program and for my daughter's preschool class.

I just love how cute they turned out!!!!

They were super easy to make.
The supply list is....

Large pom poms
2 pipe cleaners
2 wiggly eyes
hot glue and gun

Step 1~ To make these you start by cutting your 2 pipe cleaners in half
Step 2~ make an X with both sets of pipe cleaners
(you should have 2 X's)
Step 3~ Put both the X's together by wrapping one of the legs around the center.
Step 4~ glue on the legs to the pom pom
Step 5~ glue on the wiggly eyes

Your finished!

I hope you had a great Halloween and can add this to your list to do next year!

Mother's Day project!

Check out this AMAZING package of Martha Stewart products that
I received in the mail awhile ago!

Plaid Crafts contacted me and asked if I would like to
take part in a craft for Mother's Day.
Of course I said yes, because who turns down
FREE craft supplies? Not me!

When I think of Mother's Day I am reminded of all the
things my mother loves. She loves flowers!
Every since I was a young girl she has had flowers
around in one way or another.
I learned about the different flower types, how to plant flowers, and how to
arrange flowers from my FABULOUS mother.
So what better way to show her how much I
appreciate that she shared her love of flowers with
me, then by creating her something with flowers
for Mother's Day!

Here is my floral creation for her!

Here are instructions on how to create
this simple project using
Martha Stewart products.

1. I started with 3 Starbucks glasses that I emptied out
and scrubbed the label and expiration date off
with an SOS pad.

2. I then used the Fancy Script Stencil Set
and adhesive spray by Martha Stewart
to get the letters M O M on the jars.

3. I thought I would try the spray paint kit by Martha
Stewart with the color called Party Streamer in satin to spray on
 the stencils.

4. After taking the stencils off and letting the paint dry, I
took an SOS pad to clean up the adhesive that
was left behind. Just go around the letters very carefully and
wipe off with a damp paper towel.

5. Then I decided to cover up the lid section with twine
and hot glue.

6. For the finishing touches I added so purple water using
a drop of purple food coloring to the water and
last I cut some of my Irises to put in the jars.

I am so please out how well it turned out.
I can't wait to give this to my mom to say
thanks for all the many things she has done for
me over the years!

A big huge shout out to Plaid Crafts for providing me with new
fun products to play with and create this
Mother's Day decor.

Hoo are you? #65

HOOOOOOOOO ARE YOU?
HOOOO HOOOO!

Helllloooo fellow HOOOOOTS
Welcome to another week of

NightOwlCrafting

Here are this week's questions!
1. What do you look forward the most about springtime?
2. Do you have anyone in your immediate family that you
celebrate their birthday in the spring?
3. What is the weather like where you live in the springtime?
4. Do you do spring cleaning?
5. What activities do you do in the spring?

Here are my answers!

1. What do you look forward the most about springtime?
I love the flowers that start to bloom, the grass starting to get greener,
and the days getting longer daylight!
2. Do you have anyone in your immediate family that you
celebrate their birthday in the spring?
I have several! My daughter who is turning 3 this Friday, my son in April along with my mom,
and several cousins, aunts, uncles, and nephews!
3. What is the weather like where you live in the springtime?
Are weather is always crazy it goes from being warm to snowing sometimes in the same day.
We tend to get lots of rain in April and then in May we get snow again. It kinda stinks!
4. Do you do spring cleaning?
I try to, but it seems like anytime I get a chance to clean it feels
like it hasn't been done in awhile and it needs a good deep cleaning.
I am always spring cleaning and you can never tell.
5. What activities do you do in the spring? We watch a lot of little league baseball, spring break, and
try to do more activities outside, weather permitting!
